This college offers more than 50 different undergraduate degree programs and over 20 for those seeking master’s degrees. Most of the students who enroll in this school attend full time, and a little more than half live on campus. Tuition at this school comes in at about $6,481 for the whole year if you are a state resident. If you’re coming to the school from another state, you can expect to spend about $13,742 for a year of undergraduate education. Though the main campus is located in the state’s capital, you can also find classes at its satellite campuses in Wilmington and Georgetown.
The University of Delaware in Newark will cost you a couple of thousand dollars more than Delaware State University, but you can still earn an affordable college degree here. This state-assisted university offers four different associate’s degree programs and 130 programs for those interested in earning bachelor’s degrees. Additionally, this school offers 79 master’s and 39 doctorate degree programs. Over 90 percent of students who attend this school are enrolled full time. As a state resident, you can go for $8,450 a year. Non-residents looking for cheap tuition, on the other hand, cannot expect affordable tuition at this school, unless they get plenty in the form of scholarships and financial aid; tuition comes in at $22,240 for non-residents who want to go to this school.
If you are looking for a community college and planning to transfer to a four-year college later on, the Delaware Technical & Community College has different campuses from which you can choose: the Dover campus, Georgetown campus, and the Wilmington/Stanton campus. This school offers many different associate degree programs as well as certificate and diploma programs. Tuition is $103 per credit hour for in-state students and $257.50 per credit hour for out-of-state students. That’s a nice way to start working towards an affordable college degree. Also, this school caps tuition, so you won’t pay more than $1236 per semester as a state resident, even if you take more than 12 credits. The cap is $3090 per semester for out-of-state students.
