Aims Community College is a two-year college that offers over 150 courses of study. You can pursue an associate’s degree at this school or enroll in one of the many certificate programs in preparation for your career. The college has three campuses. There’s one in Geeley, Colorado, one in Fort Lupton, and another in Loveland. The school offers day and evening classes as well as classes that meet on the weekends and online. How much is the tuition? You can take classes here for less than $70 per credit, though some programs of study may be more.
Arapahoe Community College is another two-year college. It offers associate’s degrees and a range of certificate programs from which you can choose. It also offers a guaranteed transfer program that makes it easy to transfer your community college credits to an affordable university (public) that offers four-year degrees. The main campus of this school is in Littleton, Colorado. You can also take classes at the University Center of Chaparral in Parker, Colorado. This school is known for its small class sizes. In fact, many classes have fewer than 20 students. A freshman at this school could pay less than $2500 per semester to take 12 to 15 credits. Non-residents can expect to pay close to $7500.
University of Colorado at Boulder is another affordable university in Colorado. Located in Boulder, this school is a member of the Association of American Universities and has been educating students since 1877. The school offers 85 undergraduate majors as well as 70 master’s degree majors and 50 that lead to doctoral degrees. The main campus is in the heart of boulder. Resident tuition can be less than $5,000 per semester for 15 credits, depending on your major. If you qualify for the College Opportunity Fund, you could pay even less.
